Visits to Bristol Blue Glass
It Is free to come and watch the glass makers in action and there is no need to book if your group is under 10, the glass makers will be happy to answer question as they work. Normal blowing times are from 9am - 5pm with breaks for tea and lunch.
Our group visits have been enjoyed by Hen Parties, Birthday Parties, Work Outings, School outings, corporate events, blind dates, date makers and many more.
We also offer special visits as follows:
Blow your very own bauble. You can do this on your own, as a couple, as a group, or as a group with an added talk and guided demonstrations too! (£25 p/p)
See the Glassblowers at work, with a guided demonstration, and an entertaining talk about the production and history of glass in the famous city of Bristol (£5 p/p)
As per the £5 visit, but with the addition of a refreshing cup of tea or coffee together with a selection of biscuits (£7 p/p)
Group visits are a great way to learn about the magical material, glass. You will get a fascinating insight into how we make our products with guided demonstrations of some of our pieces being made, from blown goblets to sculpture. James the founder will give a interesting talk about the history of glass, from it's origin over 4,500 years ago right up to the present day. The talk also includes an amusing potted history of our famous city of Bristol.
Advance bookings for groups larger than 10 (contact us if your group is larger) .
We are happy to book evening displays from 6.00pm - minimum group size of 15 with a premium of £1.50 per person.
